Sweet Rides has had an amazing journey over the past several months!!! What started out as a crazy idea ended up being an amazingly meaningful event. We have all been touched by cancer in some way - friend, a family member, ourselves, or we just know someone distantly. We have seen how cancer affects everyone, most of all the one that has been diagnosed. We all had different reasons for wanting to participate in the 24 Hours of Booty, but we have one thing in common. We are on a mission to raise money for cancer research and support services. We are also on a mission to raise awareness about how cancer affects everyone.October 5-6, 2012 at Sandy Springs from 2pm-2pm.

24 Hours of Booty is the official 24-hour ride of the Lance Armstrong Foundation, which brings cyclists of all abilities together to raise vital funds for cancer research and survivorship. The event unites people who are passionate about fighting cancer. By benefiting both The Lance Armstrong Foundation and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta,
the 24 Hours of Booty experience represents hope, challenge, remembrance and celebration.

Stick It continues to be a great succes! For each $5 glow stick donation we write in honor or memory of someone who has fought the fight with cancer. During the event we display glow sticks from our team canopy and at night we light them all! We started this campaign in 2010 and in just two years have lit over 500 glow sticks. Hanging, lighting, and reading the hundreds of names remains a great reminder to each of us as to why we are on this journey. Help us achieve our 2012 goal of lighting 500 glowsticks! We can do this together, honoring those we know and love. |
